CLARKTON - Harold William Sargent, 67, of 214 Rosindale Road, Clarkton, died Wednesday, August 4, at his home.
He was retired from the United States Air Force.
The funeral will be held on Saturday, August 7, at 11 a.m. in White Plains Presbyterian Church, Council, with Reverend James Bartlett officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
Mr. Sargent is survived by his wife, Goldie C. Sargent of the home; a son, Harold Sargent Jr. of Troy, Ohio; three daughters, TSgt Catherine Elson of Headland, Alabama, Brenda Sargent of Ozark, Alabama, and Elizabeth Chambliss of Cottonwood, Alabama; and 11 grandchildren.
The family will receive friends today (Friday), at Gaskins Funeral Home in Clarkton.
Memorials may be made to White Plains Church Cemetery, 6049 White Plains Church Road, Council, NC 28434.
Gaskins Funeral Home is handling arrangements.
