BLADENBORO - Lyle Clayton Baxley, 71, of 10756 Highway 131, died Friday, August 13, at New Hanover Regional Medical Center in Wilmington.
The funeral was conducted Monday at 3 p. m. at Grace Baptist Church of Bladenboro by Rev. Eugene Watts and Danny Rich. Burial was in the Baxley Family Cemetery, Bladenboro.
Mr. Baxley is survived by his wife, Margaret Baxley; two sons, Larry Clayton Baxley and Lyle Anthony Baxley, both of Bladenboro; two daughters, Lyle Jean West of Bladenboro and Laurel Jane Rich of Garland; a brother, Jimmy Baxley of Norfolk, Va.; eight sisters, Betty Newton and Sandra Tyndall, both of Lumberton, Roselie White of Burgaw, Alice Singletary, Cynthia Carlyle and Angela Midgette, all of Bladenboro, Patsey Perry of Kimberly, Ala., and Shelby Price of Dublin; his step-grandmother, Virginia Baxley of Bladenboro; 12 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Lewis-Bowen Funeral Home of Bladenboro handled the arrangements.
