Members of the Bladen County Shrine Club are gearing up for their annual fish fry.
The $5 tickets went on sale this week, said Fish Fry Chairman Phillip Little. The fish fry will be Oct. 20.
All proceeds go to the Shriner's Hospital for Crippled Children.
Plates will be available at three locations this year: the Winn-Dixie parking lot in Elizabethtown, the Bo's parking lot in Bladenboro, and beside the Minuteman store in Tar Heel.
"We've had a lot of orders from Tar Heel in the past," Little said, "and decided to sell plates there as well."
The two Elizabethtown sites have also been combined, Little said, to speed up filling orders.
"We'll have a takeout line, and a line for folks who want to sit down to eat," he said. "This should make it easier for people that are picking up plates during their lunch hour."
Plates will be sold from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. at each of the sites. The meals will contain fresh whiting filets, hushpuppies and slaw.
