WHITE OAK - Lossie Mae Baxley, 73, of 725 BCM Road, died Monday, February 21, at Bladen County Hospital.

The funeral service will be held Saturday at 2 p. m. at Mt. Carmel Holy Church of Worship. Entombment will be in the Mt. Carmel church cemetery.

She is survived by seven daughters, Agnes McKoy, Ruby Robinson, Virginia McGill, Gloria Smith, Mildred Jackson, Wilma Kelly and Connie Smith; four sons, Rufus Baxley, Nathaniel Baxley, George Baxley and Dennis Baxley; a sister, Gertrude Cannon; three brothers, John Bordeaux, James Bordeaux and Abraham Bordeaux; 28 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.

A viewing will be held today (Friday) from 1 till 5:30 p. m. at F. W. Newton and Sons Mortuary in Elizabethtown.

Newton is handling the arrangements.
