Classic Cruisers pre-registering entrants for 7th Annual "Made in the Shade" Open Car and Truck Show

The Classic Cruisers Car Club of Elizabethtown is getting ready for its biggest event of the year, the annual "Made in the Shade" Open Car and Truck Show. This will be the seventh annual edition of the car show that has drawn entrants and visitors from around much of the state in previous years.
The show is scheduled for Saturday, August 13, in front of The Barn, across from Wal-Mart, but pre-registration is now underway and will continue through August 6. In the event the show is rained out, it will be held on August 20.
A huge array of trophies will be awarded to the Top 100 and for another 20 categories.
The fee for pre-registration is $15. The fee for registering on the day of the show will be $20. Registration on the day of the show will be 8 a.m. until noon. Judging will be from 1 p.m. until 3 p.m. and awards will be given out at 4 p.m.
Much of the funds generated by this and other Classic Cruiser shows goes to various charities in the counties. The club is one of the most active fundraising groups in Bladen.
