The West Bladen Knights are set to travel to Red Springs to take on the Red Devils in a Southeastern 1A/2A Conference football game tonight. Game time is 7:30 p.m.

West Bladen opened Southeastern Conference play last week with 27-26 overtime wins over Fairmont.

The Knights are 1-0 in league play and 3-2 overall.

Red Springs opened conference play last week with a 42-7 win over St. Pauls.

The Red Devils are 1-0 in conference play and 5-1 overall. The Red Devils opened the season with a 4-0 record.

The Red Devils opened the season with a 42-6 win over East Montgomery and then beat Lakewood 48-8.

After downing Porter Ridge 49-35, Red Springs beat East Columbus 34-0.

In the fifth week of plat, the Red Devils lost to Gray's Creek 42-28 before bouncing back for last week's win over St. Pauls.

Red Springs' ground game has been led by Neal Smith, Rasheem McEachern and Chris Isaac. Quarterback David Campbell is the team leader.

West Bladen downed Overhills 40-14 in the season opener before falling to South Brunswick 28-22 the following week.

The Knights came back to beat Wilmington Ashley 27-13 and then lost to Hobbton 33-32 before getting the overtime win against Fairmont last week.
