To the editor:

Harvey Morris was truly a great agricultural extension agent. He served Bladen County for 32 years and contributed greatly to the agriculture programs in the county.

For those who knew Harvey, he was a kind man who had a love for agriculture and family. As the agriculture agent in the county, Harvey met many people and has touched many lives. He loved to tell jokes and bring out the best in the individuals he met.

Bladen County is considerably better off because of the contributions Harvey Morris has made to the county. As a tribute, we at the Bladen County Cooperative Extension Service would like to say thank you “Harvey” for the memorable moments, crop expertise and genuine service to mankind. You will truly be missed.

May you rest in peace in your new heavenly home.
