He was preceded in death by his father, Jimmy Chambers and his late wife, Crystal P. Chambers.
A service was held at the Lisbon Baptist Church at 3 p.m. Sunday, July 13, 2008.
He is survived by his wife Donna Chambers; four children; Avarie Chambers of White Lake; Lisa Landreth, Andrew Chambers and Ryan Chambers of the home; his mother, Betty Chambers of Stockdale; two brothers, Jr. Chambers of Manteo and David Chambers of Guilford County; two sisters, Cheryl Wagg of Manison and Kathy Hudolin of Mcleansville.
