ELIZABETHTOWN — The Bladen County Farm Service Agency recently completed its 2008 county committee elections and Joyce M. Walters was re-elected to a second three year term beginning Jan. 1. Walters will represent Local Administrative Area 2, which includes Abbotts, Bladenboro, Bethel, and Hollow Township.

FSA committees are responsible for local administration of FSA farm programs, under the guidance of the state FSA committee and applicable federal laws and regulations. The Bladen County FSA committee meets the second Tuesday of each month at 9 a.m. in the Powell-Melvin Agriculture Service Center located at 450 Smith Circle in Elizabethtown.
