The Clarkton School of Discovery recently held a soil and water contest. The essay winners from sixth grade are first place, Abby Norris; second place, Abby Mix; and third place, Elexsys Junious. The speech winners for seventh grade are first place, Hayley Hall; second place, Jordan Hayes; and third place, Diana Gonzalez. The speech winner for eighth grade was Tatum Singletary.

The poster winners for sixth grade are first place, Adam Rutland; second place, Natalie Hardin; and third place Caleb Dowless. The first place winners will go on to represent CSD at the county soil and water contest to be held later.
