RALEIGH — Travis E. Dittrich, 38, of Rocky Point was sentenced before U.S. District Judge James C. Dever III to 144 months in prison, followed by a life term of superivised release.

Dittrich pled guilty in August to 15 counts of receipt of child pornography and one count of possession of child pornography.

It wasn’t the first time Dittrich was in trouble with the law.

In July 2006, deputies with the Bladen and Pender counties sheriff’s offices executed a search warrant at Dittrich’s residence for the illegal copying of DVD movies. In state court, Dittrich pled guilty to possession of counterfeit materials and, as part of his plea, he was required to forfeit his computer to the Pender County Sheriff’s Office.
