The funeral is planned for Friday, May 29, at 2 p.m. at Shady Grove Baptist Church with the Revs. Barry Swain and Larry Priest officiating. Burial will follow at Shady Grove Old Field Cemetery.
The family will receive friends and relatives Thursday, May 28, at Shady Grove Baptist Church from 6 to 8 p.m.
She was predeceased by her husband, Fletcher Ivey Autry; her parents, Lee and Blanche Pervine; one son, Fletcher Dewitt Autry; one daughter, Viola Wiggins; one brother, Fred Pervine; three sisters, Mary Blanton, Minnie Naylor, and Lucille Pervine Thompson; one granddaughter; and two great-granddaughters.
She is survived by one son, Harold “Bob” Gene Autry of Elizabethtown; five daughters, Mary Jane Howell and Sara White, both of Clarkton; Melba Atkins of Elizabethtown; Delma Moore of Kinston and Diann Thompson of Dublin; one sister, Inez Pervine Baxley; 24 grandchildren and 44 great-grandchildren and 21 great-great-grandchildren.
