Bladen County FSA Announces 2009 County Committee Election Results

ELIZABETHTOWN — The Bladen County Farm Service Agency recently completed its 2009 county committee elections and Daniel B. McDuffie was elected to a three-year term that began Jan. 1.
McDuffie will represent Local Administrative Area-1, which includes Elizabethtown, Brown Marsh, Whites Creek and Carvers Creek townships.
FSA committees are responsible for local administration of FSA farm programs, under the guidance of the state FSA Committee and applicable Federal laws and regulations.
The Bladen County FSA Committee meets the second Tuesday of each month at 9 a.m. at the Powell-Melvin Agriculture Service Center, USDA-FSA Office, located at 450 Smith Circle, Elizabethtown.
