Bobby and Lisa Haywood, of Lumberton, and Ivan and Kim Watts, of Lumberton, announce the engagement of their daughter, Kayla Marie Watts, to Corey Daniel White, the son of Al and Andrea Ivey, and Carey and Susan White, of Ocean Isle Beach.

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Maudie Mae Campbell, and the late Lennaw Campbell, and Mary Ellen Watts, and the late Murdock Watts.

She graduated from Lumberton Senior High and The University of North Carolina at Pembroke with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing. She is employed by Southeastern Health in Lumberton as a Registered Nurse.

The groom-elect is the grandson of John and Brenda Blackmon, of Lumberton, and Dean and Patti White, of Bladenboro.

He graduated from Lumberton Senior High and attended The University of North Carolina at Pembroke. He is employed for Century 21 of Lumberton as a real estate agent and the general manager at Haywood Auto Sales.

The wedding will be held on Saturday, Oct. 17, 2015 at 4 p.m. at the Vineland Station in Whiteville, NC.
