ELIZABETHTOWN — After a diligent search process, officials with the Bladen County Health Department announced the arrival of Carol Butler, family nurse practitioner.

Butler and the Health Department’s clinical staff will continue all services traditionally offered at the Health Department, which include: Family planning/reproductive health, maternal health, child health, communicable disease and STD services, and immunizations.

“We are extremely pleased to have Ms. Butler with us,” said David Howard, Bladen County Health & Human Services director. “Her experience and dedication to community health are great assets. We also look forward to continuing our work with community partners to build better health as a cornerstone for a vibrant and resilient Bladen County.”

Butler has eight years of experience as an FNP and 23 years prior experience as a registered nurse.
