ELIZABETYHTOWN — Lower Cape Fear Hospice will offer a free six-week grief program, Living with grief: Growth and education groups for adults, from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. Mondays, July 6 through Aug. 3, at its Bladen County office, 116 W. Broad St. in Elizabethtown.
Discussions include phases of grief and the grieving process, along with other areas of concern. Often being around others who have been through a similar experience enables participants to talk about what they are experiencing. Grief groups help emphasize that participants are not grieving alone and others understand and can support them on their grief journeys.
Registration is required and closes once the series begins. For more information, call 515-6689. When leaving a message, please leave your name, phone number and indicate the specific program you wish to attend. Sessions are free. Donations are appreciated. Additional groups will form throughout the year.
