ELIZABETHTOWN — Everyone was delighted with all the wreaths they made at the wreath-making class using fresh greenery Wednesday evening at the Bladen County Cooperative Extension Center.

A variety of wreath forms were used including grapevine, straw and Christmas green. Evergreen plant material was used to create texture and form. Colorful ribbon was added along with plenty of glitz and glam to make it really look festive.

Having a small crowd allowed most to be really productive with making multiple wreaths.

Taking the class was Diane Vitale, Kathy Britt, Linda Tripaldi and Paula Davis. The class was taught by Nancy Olsen, Bladen County horticulture agent. New classes will be in the bi-monthly newsletter, which will be out in January.
