WALLACE — Jeremy and Sandra Wilkes were united in matrimony on Sunday, June 19, 2016, before family and friends at River Landing Country Club in Wallace.
The former Sandra Ruan of Elizabethtown is an N.C. State graduate and is currently employed as a renal dietician at Fresenius Medical Care. She is the daughter of Mei and Yang Ruan, who lived in Elizabethtown for more than 20 years and now live in Laurinburg.
Jeremy Wilkes of Clarkton is an N.C. State graduate and is now a second-year medical student at East Carolina University’s Brody School of Medicine in Greenville. He is the son of Kathy Carey Wilkes, a teacher at East Bladen High.
Lilly Ruan, sister of the bride, served as maid of honor; Casey Absher Forbes, friend of the bride, served as matron of honor; bridesmaids were Kara Marshburn Smith, Brooke Sasser McMichael, Cassie Boyne, Haviland Sheldal-Thomason and Julia Ward.
Joshua Wilkes, brother of the groom, served as best man; Stephen Wilkes, father of the groom, served as groomsman; other groomsmen were Matt Stillwagon, Shane Wyke, Rhett Stroupe and Rhett Smith.
The rehearsal dinner was held at the Riverboat Landing Restaurant and Bar in Wilmington.
The couple currently lives in Greenville.
