The Elizabethtown Foxglove Garden Club held its February meeting at the home of Cathy Gantz on Thursday,Feb. 23, at 7 p.m.

Cathy and Tilly Clark hosted the meeting. The program was entitled “Breathe a Breath of Spring” and was presented by regionally renowned cooperative extension horticulture specialist, Nancy Olsen, who shared her expertise in the art of creating beautiful arrangements from outdoors to indoors during the winter months.

Members and guests also received a copy of the “Horticulture Scoop” filled with helpful gardening tips. This monthly publication is provided by the Bladen County Cooperative Extension Center.

Olsen began her tenure as the North Carolina Cooperative Extension consumer horticulture agent in Bladen County in November 2016. Foxglove Garden Club looks forward to working with Olsen.
