Graham to compete in Miss Teen Pageant

COUNCIL — Angel Graham of Council was recently selected to participate in the 2017 Miss Teen Pageant on Sunday, March 19.

Graham will compete for a share of thousands of dollars in prizes and specialty gifts. Contestants will compete in modeling routines that include casual wear and formal wear — as well as show their personality during interviews with the judges.

Should Graham win the title of Miss Teen, she would represent her community and state at the National Miss Teen Pageant in Orlando, Fla. Each state winner receives an expense-paid trip for six days and five nights, where they will compete for more than $30,000 in prizes.

Graham is hoping community businesses, organizations and individuals throughout Bladen County will assist her in the competition by becoming an official sponsor. Through sponsorships, Graham will receive the necessary training, rehearsals and financial support to prepare for the preliminary pageant.

Those interested in sponsoring Graham can do so by calling 1-877-910-4190.
