ELIZABETHTOWN — The Bladen County UNCF Cabinet will host a reception for Bladen County honorees on Tuesday, Sept. 26, from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Paul R. Brown Building, located on Martin Luther King Drive in Elizabethtown.

This year’s honorees are Anita Hall of Little Hands Daycare; Ophelia Munn-Goins, Bladen County commissioner; Audtra Mckoy Cole, distinguished musician; the Rev. Carl Smith, pastor of Piney Grove Missionary Baptist Church; and Mathew Cromartie, Riverside Lodge worshipful master.

These Bladen County residents are being honored because of their volunteer service to their communities.

All former honorees, all people interested in learning more about UNCF, anyone interested in learning more about UNCF Scholarships and anyone interested in volunteering are invited to attend this reception. The Cabinet will recognize the accomplishments of the honorees and explain the mission of UNCF at the reception. Refreshments will be served.
