CLARKTON — The graduating Class of 1948 from Clarkton High School celebrated its 69th class reunion at Horace and Betty Prevatte’s “Sleep Inn Motel” in Wilmington, and they served as host at Olive Garden for the dinner. There were seven graduates present and all enjoyed the evening. Attending were, left to right, Mabel Packer Callihan, Charles Rogers, Sara Frances Gooden Melvin, hosts Betty and Horace, Joe Elkins Bullard, Warren Gooden Jr., and Louise McCullock Quick.
