Sheriff’s office to hold training exercise at two schools

ELIZABETHTOWN — The Bladen County Sheriff’s Office will be conducting an Integrated Public Safety Response exercise on Friday, April 20, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Elizabethtown Middle School and the Paul R. Brown Leadership Academy.

This is the first of such exercises of this type and magnitude in the region.

This will be a training exercise for regional first-responders. There will be signs posted in the area indicating that it is an exercise only and the area will be heavily congested with first-responder traffic and should be AVOIDED if possible.
