ELIZABETHTOWN — Paul R. Brown Leadership Academy will welcome Jennifer Henery as its commencement speaker.

Henery earned a bachelor of arts degree from Franklin College in Indiana, a master of arts degree and Ph.D. in religious studies from Marquette University in Wisconsin.

She joined Saint Johns Northwestern Military Academy during the Summer OPS program in 2009. Prior to that, she was a teaching assistant and adjunct at Marquette University, and an instructor at Nashotah House Theological Seminary.

In addition to teaching, she has spent several years working in Christian Formation as a youth director, director of academics for the Episcopal Diocese of Milwaukee’s Deacon Formation Program, and director of Christian Formation at St. John Chrysostom Episcopal Church in Delafield.

Commencement schedules are as follows:

Friday

6:45 p.m. Baccalaureate (Corps only)

7:22 p.m. Stone Ceremony.

Candle Light Parade will begin immediately following the Stone Ceremony.

Saturday

10 a.m. Commencement Exercise at Bladen Community College.

The public and underclassmen families are invited to attend the Stone Ceremony, the Candlelight Parade and Commencement.

For the Commencement Ceremony, appropriate attire is requested. No oversized trousers and T-shirts, athletic attire, or workout attire will be permitted inside the auditorium. Business casual as a minimum is requested.
