ELIZABETHTOWN — Elizabethtown’s newest eatery, Big Toms’s Subs ‘N More, has a grand opening opening this week and is encouraging residents to come out and enjoy the historical atmosphere.

This business serves subs, wraps, paninis, fries, 8-inch individual pizzas, and an assortment of drinks, which customers may enjoy while looking at a collage of photos from historical Elizabethtown and the Elizabethtown of today.

“Our restaurant is dedicated to the town and the people, ” said owner James Stephens. “You can see it by the decoration on our walls.”

Once it is licensed, Big Tom’s will also put beer and wine on the menu.

Though this is the owner’s first venture into owning a restaurant, he is not new to running a business. Stephens also owns Stephens Vinyard and Winery, located in Lumberton.

Big Tom’s Subs ‘N More will be open Monday through Saturday, from 10:30 a.m. until 9 p.m. It is located in the Cape Fear Farmer’s Market in Elizabethtown.
