Inaugural Girl Scout Jamboree held in Dublin Saturday

DUBLIN — The first-ever Girl Scout Jamboree of Bladen County was held in Dublin over the weekend. The Dublin Daisies raised the funds to put on the event for all of the other Girl Scouts of Bladen County and their guests. Held at the Dublin Fire Department, the day consisted of inflatables, slides, face painting, fellowship, and a cookout.

Because the Dublin Daisies raised twice what they needed for the Jamboree, the group will be hosting a swim day on Thursday for Bladen County Girl Scouts and their guests. People interested in attending the swim day may contact a Bladen County Girl Scout they know to receive an invitation.
