WHITEVILLE — District Attorney Jon David announced that Timothy Ray Davis, from Whiteville pled guilty to one count of failure of a sex offender to report new address in Columbus County Superior Court. Davis was sentenced to 20-36 months in prison.
Davis has been required to register as a sex offender since 2006. In March 2015, Davis did not report an address change, as required, to the Columbus County Sheriff’s Department. Upon further investigation it was found that he had not lived at the registered address for over a month.
Davis
