Salvation Army to take applications at Families First office Friday, Oct. 16

ELIZABETHTOWN — The Salvation Army will be accepting applications for the Christmas Assistance/Angel Tree for Bladen County on Friday at Families First, Inc from 9 a.m. until 4 p.m.

The last application will be accepted at 4 p.m. so applicants are asked to arrive early so they can complete the process. Seniors who are 60 or older may apply for food only.

Applicants are asked to bring a photo id for al adults living at the same address, social security for everyone living at the home, and identification for all members living at the residence.

You will also need a birth certificate for all children 13 and under. Also, bring written pants sizes, shoe sizes, shirt size, and the child’s interest. Doctor’s due dates are required to add an unborn child.

Applicants will also need to bring their proof of income and proof of expenses.

The Families First office is located at 103 East Broad Street, Elizabethtown.
