WILMINGTON — Michelle King, April Blizzard and Simeone Frost accepted on behalf of Lower Cape Fear Hospice the 2019 Hospice Honors Elite recognition, as awarded by HEALTHCAREfirst.

King is director of patient care services, Blizzard is clinical education nurse manager and Frost is director of patient access.

The evaluation period was from October 2017 to September 2018.

Lower Cape Fear Hospice serves Bladen County, along with the North Carolina counties of Columbus, Dublin, Onslow, Pender, New Hanover and Brunswick, and the South Carolina counties of Horry, Marion and Georgetown.
