ELIZABETHTOWN — A meeting of the Bladen County 2020 Census Complete Count committee is scheduled Thursday at 10 a.m. in the Powell-Melvin Agricultural Center, 450 Smith Circle Drive in Elizabethtown.
The meeting brings together leaders who are trying to stress the importance of the upcoming census. A news release says that for “every person not counted the towns and county are losing over $16,000 per person for the 10-year period. This money is used to provide essential services to our citizens.”
