ELIZABETHTOWN — Two people have been arrested as part of an undercover operation conducted by the Bladen County Sheriff’s Office.

Daniel Deaver and Dina Evans are accused by lawmen of possessing and selling illegal drugs in Bladenboro, including near Bladenboro Middle School. Each faces charges related to heroin and selling drugs near a school and park.

Bail for Deaver, 31, of Evergreen, was set at $340,000. Bail for Evans, 38, also of Evergreen, was set at $300,000.

The Sheriff’s Office, in the news release, also said it had made other arrests in separate probes.

Those arrested include Jose Abrego, 59, of Lumberton; Donald Pidgeon, 38, of Bladenboro; Ginger Eason, 46, of Bladenboro; and Andra McKinley, 39, of Elizabethtown.

Among the charges against Abrego is trafficking heroin. His bail was set at $1.276 million. Pidgeon and Eason are each facing drug charges. Bail for Pidgeon was set at $50,000; bail for Eason was set at $10,000. All were involved in the same investigation.

Bail for McKinley was set at $5,000. His charges involve marijuana.

The Sheriff’s Office said its updated wanted list includes Larissa Roeder, Damon Mullins, Elijah Davis, David Jackson, Ryan Pone, Curtis Cobbs, Morris Bellamy and Nashawn Patrick. Anyone with information on them is asked to call the Sheriff’s Office at 910-874-0656.
