BLADENBORO — Voters in Bladenboro kept two of the three incumbents on electoin night, voting in one challenger for a seat on the town council.

Sara Jane Benson and Patsi Callihan retained their seats with 146 and 180 votes, respectively.

Newcomer Gene Norton took a seat away from incumbent Everett Butler by garnering 204 votes. Butler received just 106 votes.

In the unexpired term voting, former county health director Cris Harrelson won the seat with 157 votes over 112 votes for Don White.
