DUBLIN — Dr. Chuck Tryon will be the guest in the Bladen Community College Writers Series on Wednesday at 11 a.m. in the Student Resource Center.
Tryon’s message will be on social media and civic engagement. Specifically, he will “explore how social media tools have and continue to be used to influence public policy,” a release from the college says.
There is no charge to attend, and it is open to the public.
Tryon is an English professor at Fayetteville State University teaching courses on media literacy, documentary and college writing.
