ELIZABETHTOWN — Rev. Jason Williams, on behalf of the Bladen County Long-Term Disaster Recovery Group, accepted donations of $81,700 from the Presbytery of Coastal Carolina.

The Presbytery was represented at the presentation by Gayle Boykin and the Rev. Jerrod Lowry.

“These resources will enable us to put more full-time focus on helping disaster survivor’s recovery in Bladen County,” Williams said.

The donations included $75,000 from the Presbyterian Church Disaster Assistance, $5,000 from the Presbyterian Synod of the Mid-Atlantic and $1,700 from various churches and individuals to the organization.
