ELIZABETHTOWN — Home for the Holidays is the adoption program starting Monday and running through Dec. 31 at the Bladen County Animal Shelter.
Adoption fees for dogs and cats are waived during these two weeks; there is a fee of $25 to $30 to vaccinate the dogs, and $15 to vaccinate the cats.
Adoption times are noon to 5 p.m. weekdays. The shelter is closed Dec. 24, 25, 26, and reopens at a regular time on Dec. 27.
