TAR HEEL — Tar Heel Middle School hosted a drive-through parade for its eighth graders Tuesday evening.
Students had been out of school since leaving March 13. Principal Teresa Coleman deemed the event a “huge success” with participation from students, parents, faculty and staff, and some members from the district office. Signs for each eighth-grader were along the parade route.
