Tractor Supply hosts Bladen County Animal Shelter kittens, dog

ELIZABETHTOWN — Tractor Supply on West Broad Street in Elizabethtown hosted a Market Day on Saturday, and the handful of local vendors included the Bladen County Animal Control & Shelter with several kittens and a full-grown Beagle for adoption.

Karen Suggs, manager of the shelter, said getting out into the public so people can see what the shelter has to offer is important.

“Even if we don’t make an adoption, people will have the chance to see some of the animals we have and can always come to the shelter another time,” Suggs said.

During the day, Jason Ridings and Tiffany Eckmann, both of Elizabethtown, brought their Boxers to Tractor Supply to do some shopping. Also, Hannah Caulder, 13, of Dublin stopped by to visit with the shelter’s kittens and dog.
