DUBLIN — The Small Business Center of Bladen Community College is offering no-cost seminars throughout October.

The final three seminars of the Entrepreneurs Academy are scheduled in October. How to Find Your Customers on Tuesday, Oct. 17, Marketing Your Business on Tuesday, Oct. 24, and Writing Your Business Plan on Tuesday, Oct. 31, will meet from 3:30 until 5:30 p.m. All three classes will meet on the Dublin campus.

Ten Tips for Time Management will be offered on Thursday, Oct. 26, from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. Following immediately, the college will host Ten Tips for Stress Management.

Two church and non-profit seminars are offered in October. Quickbook Pro for Churches and Non-Profits is scheduled at the East Arcadia Center in Riegelwood on Thursday, Octo. 19, from 6 to 8 p.m. This inclusive workshop takes participants through the entire program from start to finish.

How to Find a Grant is being held on the main campus in building 2, room 207 on Saturday, Oct.21, from 9 a.m. until noon.

Social Media Tools and Tricks is an online webinar to be presented on Wednesday, Oct. 18, from 1 to 2 p.m.

Maximize Your Google Listing, also an online webinar, will be presented on Monday, Oct. 23, from 7 to 8 p.m.

The online webinar Online Tools and Apps for Small Business will be presented on Friday, Oct. 27, from 10 to 11 a.m.

The Bladen County Public Library is hosting two seminars. On Tuesday, Oct. 10, from 10:30 until 11:30 a.m., Ten Tips to Improve Your Holiday Sales will help business owners prepare for the upcoming shopping season. On Thursday Oct. 12, Herding Cats- Managing Your Employees is scheduled from 6 to 8 p.m. This workshop will benefit business owners who want to find, motivate, and retain the right employees.

All seminars are open to the public and provided at no charge due to special funding arrangements for the Small Business Center and Bladen Community College.
