DUBLIN – The Small Business Center of Bladen Community College is offering the Non-Profit Academy and other business seminars during April at no-cost to participants.

Included are:

— Business Basics for Artists is scheduled for Saturday, April 23, from 9 a.m. to noon on the main Dublin campus.

— On Thursday, April 26, at 6:30 p.m., speaker Mike Collins will present The Best Business to Start Now. Following this discussion, Collins will present Starting a Business on a Limited Budget at 7:45 p.m. on the main campus.

— Basics of Bookkeeping is scheduled for Tuesday, April 10, from 6 to 8 p.m. on the East Arcadia campus.

— Developing and Re-Writing Organization Bylaws is on Monday, April 30, from 6 to 8 p.m. on the East Arcadia campus.

— Developing a Technology Budget for Non-Profits/Churches is scheduled for Tuesday, April 24, from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Bladen County Public Library in Elizabethtown.

— Webinars available online only in April are 10 Mistakes to Avoid with Mobile Sites, on Friday, April 20, from 10 to 11 a.m., 10 Ways for a Perfect Workday for Entrepreneurs and Small Business Owners, on Monday, April 23, from 7 to 8 p.m., and 10 Google Tools to Start a Small Business, on Wednesday, April 25, from 1 to 2 p.m.

All seminars/webinars are open to the public and provided at no charge due to special funding arrangements for the Small Business Center and Bladen Community College.
