CLARKTON — A woman was arrested Monday by Bladen County sheriff’s deputies and charged with selling stolen property.
Angela Tanya Wells, 43, of Clarkton was arrested after she allegedly sold a chainsaw that was reported stolen from a Ruskin Road residence to a pawn shop in Elizabethtown.
“We have two other suspects in this case and expect to make additional arrests in the near future,” Bladen County Sheriff Jim McVicker said. “In addition to the chainsaw, a 55-inch flat screen television was also stolen.”
Wells has been charged with felony obtaining property by false pretense and her bond was set at $1,500.
