Dern. J. Crilley, assistance Bladen County ranger for the North Carolina Fire Serviuce, recently went to Plainview Primary School to visit its fourth-grade classes and announce the winners for the Smokey The Bear Contest the students participated in. The poster contest was based on their idea of Smokey The Bear and fire prevention. After viewing the posters, there was a tie and declared two students as the winners.
