BLADENBORO — During the recent Board of Education meeting, board members spotlighted the Bladenboro Middle School Junior Beta Club, which traveled to Greensboro for the annual N.C. Junior Beta Club Convention. They took 32 delegates with 16 chaperones and six sponsors.
Several students competed on individual teams and brought home six top-five finishes. They were:
— Third place – Arts and Crafts Sweepstakes – Club Project
— Second place – Handmade Jewelry- Alexis Allen
— Second place – Oil Pastels – Kailey Gause
— First place – T-Shirt – Club Project designed by Katie Guyton, Kasee Singletary, and Joshua Benson
— First Place – Scrapbook – Club Project
— First Place – Sculpture = Cadee Bryan
