— St. Luke A.M.E. Zion Church, located at 410 Martin Luther King Jr. Drive in Bladenboro, will present “How’s Your Tea?” at 5:30 p.m. Various speakers will share how cups of tea can reflect our daily living. This program is to support the Youth Missionary Society of the St. Luke A.M.E. Zion Church. The pastor is the Rev. Hardy Ballard Jr.

— The Heavenly Hearts Foundation will host a Power to Praise Gospel Fest 2016 beginning at 6 p.m. at the Friendly Community Center in Clinton. On program will be Billy Ray and the Gospelairs, Matthew Murchison and Fresh Sounds, Deliverance Victory Temple Choir, Perry Parker and the Jubilair, Spiritual Voices and Genesis and many more.
