— Living Springs Church on U.S. 701 South in Elizabethtown will host a live dramatization of the crucifixion and resurrection of Jesus Christ at 7 p.m. The free event will include many people from area churches. The public is invited.

— Tar Heel Baptist Church located at 521 Tar Heel Ferry Road in Tar Heel, will have an Easter Egg Hunt for children in 6th grade and below. It will begin at 10:30 a.m and end at noon. Lunch will be served.

March 27

— Tar Heel Baptist Church located at 521 Tar Heel Ferry Road in Tar Heel, will have a special Easter Service beginning at 7 a.m with breakfast. The worship service will start at 8:30 a.m. Everyone is invited to attend.

— The annual Community Early Rise Service will be held at 7 a.m. at the Old Trinity Church on East Broad Street in Elizabethtown. All are invited.

— The Drama Team of St. Luke A.M.E. Church located at 410 Martin Luther King Drive, Bladenboro, will present a play “Deacon Willie’s Last Will and Testament”. There will be a meal served during the play for a donation of $12.00. Everyone is invited to attend.

— Tatum’s 14th annual gospel singing anniversary at 6 p.m. at New Life Church located at 107 South Maultsby Street in Whiteville. Featuring Nadine and Stevie, Beaverdam Boys, and Joyful Sounds. There will be a special appearance by T.J. Tatum, door prizes, and refreshments available.
