— A benefit steak plate sale will be held at Elizabethtown Church of God. The plate includes a 9-oz. ribeye, baked potato, salad, roll, and dessert for $10. Eat in, take out, delivery, and a drive-thru will be available. Advanced tickets are available by contacting the church, or walk-ins are welcomed. The plate sale will take place from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. All proceeds benefit Cody Clark.

— Pastor P. Lorraine Jackson, along with Kingdom Women Ministry, is hosting “Women Empowerment Weekend” today and tomorrow. The conference begins today at 1 p.m. with “Women Who Served,” a ladies luncheon at the Lewis Building, 1711 Martin Luther King Drive in Elizabethtown.
