TAR HEEL — On Friday, Dec. 16, members of the Tar Heel Baptist Church Gospel Project Sunday School Class delivered 30 goodie bags filled with a Subway gift card and other goodies to the teachers, administration, and staff at Plain View Primary School.
Plain View Primary School is one of the schools in danger of closing in Bladen County at the end of the 2016-2017 school year, and THBC wants to love on the teachers and students at Plain View Primary School and help them out in any way that we can.
THBC hosts Plain View Primary School second- through fourth-grade students once a month for Released Time, and we have seen how much the teachers, administration and staff invest into the lives of the students who attend there.
These goodie bags were just the first of many things that we hope to do for the Plain View Primary School teachers, administration and staff in the coming year.
