Officers of the 252nd Coast Artillery/Anti-Aircraft Artillery Group Association, NCNG, in Wilmington will hold their 36th annual reunion on Friday, Sept. 18, and Saturday, Sept, 19. All former members of the 252nd or any subordinate units are encouraged to attend.
A business meeting and stag Shrimperoo will begin at 6 p.m. on Sept. 18 at the Covil Farms Clubhouse, located on Covil Farms Road (off Military Cutoff) in Wilmington. The cost is $12 per person in advance or $15 at the door. Officers for 2015-16 will be elected. Engraved memorial brick pavers in the Association’s section at the Fallen Soldiers memorial near the airport armory will be offered for sale. On Sept. 19, the annual 252nd Artillery Social will be held at the Covil Farms Clubhouse. The social hour will begin at 5 p.m. and will be followed by a catered southern-style buffet. Cost is $15 per person. Music will be provided by Duke Ladd. Members are urged to bring a guest to the Social.
