ELIZABETHTOWN –East Bladen netminder Ting Lin watched a good soccer match on Thursday. With little more than simple anticipation of a shot on goal to contend with, Lin watched her Lady Eagles teammates dismantle visiting Pender County for a 7-0 Four County Conference win.
East Bladen improved to 9-4 overall and 5-4 in the conference.
The lady Eagles found the back of the net three times in the first half, then added four more goals in the second half to seal the win.
Hannah Devane and Justyna Gargala each had a hat trick and an assist for East Bladen, while Lexie Mendell tallied the seventh goal for the Lady Eagles. Ashley Hardin contributed four assists in the victory.
East Bladen will host cross-county conference rival West Bladen on Tuesday at 6 p.m.
