Rec soccer registration set to open

ELIZABETHTOWN — Recreation soccer registration will open Monday and continue through Sept. 1 at the Bladen County Parks & Recreation Department.

Registration fees are: Tot Soccer (ages 3 to 4) $25 per participant; soccer (ages 5 to 7 coed, 8to 10 girls and boys, 11 to 14 boys and girls $30 per participant. Age is determined as of Aug. 1.

West volleyball to host alumni game

DUBLIN — The West Bladen Lady Knights volleyball team will hold an alumni game on Saturday, July 22, at 10 a.m. in the school’s main gym.

The cost will be $10 to play and $2 for admission. The gym will be available July 20 at 7 p.m. for any alumni who wishes to come and sharpen or refine their skills.

Open gym for volleyball set

DUBLIN — West Bladen High will host a volleyball open gym from 8:30 to 10 a.m. on two more Mondays this summer.

The dates will be July 24 and July 31.

Participants will need a current physical to attend.


Mini volleyball camp scheduled

DUBLIN — West Bladen High School will host a Mini Volleyball Camp on July 17-19 for ages 8 to 13 from 9 a.m. to noon each day.

Registration will be open at 8:30 a.m. on the day of the camp. If you register on the day of camp, the fee is $60 and does not guarantee a T-shirt.
