Dear Eagle Family,

Out of all the high school senior athletes in the Carolinas, Caleb Strait, is one of 88 to be chosen to play in the Shrine Bowl’s annual high school All-Star Football Gridiron Classic. The game will be played on December 16th in Spartanburg, South Carolina. North Carolina and South Carolina will be represented by 44 players on each team.

Caleb Strait has been an integral part of our success at East Bladen during his 4 years of playing football. He has been selected to represent the North Carolina Shrine Bowl Team as an offensive lineman. Standing at 6’3” and weighing in at 280 pounds, he is an intimidating presence on our football team. His size, combined with his work ethic, have opened doors of opportunity for his future. He is a good student-athlete who will represent East Bladen and his community honorably.

It is indeed an honor for him to be selected to this year’s team, and you can show your pride in his selection by honoring him with a recognition page in the game program book. Recognition by his parents, friends, classmates, coaches, booster club, and local businesses is something he will appreciate as he looks back over this book many years after the game.

An instruction form to purchase a “Recognition Page” is attached. The deadline for these ads is this Friday, November 17th. A link to the Jostens site is: http://jostensadservice.com?REF=A01059042

Thank you for your continued support of East Bladen High School and the Shrine Bowl of the Carolinas!

Sincerely,

Robby Priest
